ConnectCare3 far exceeded my expectations and they provide a service no one should be without.
"You have a brain aneurysm." Within days of receiving this shocking phone call from my doctor regarding an MRI report, my Human Resources Director provided a wealth of medical information to me, including a referral to ConnectCare3. On my own, not knowing what neurologist to see, I encountered a road block in scheduling a timely appointment until I contacted ConnectCare3.
My Nurse Navigator gave me several physician options and among those was an internationally renowned neurologist at a highly respected medical center several hours from my home. I would not have known about this physician until ConnectCare3 made me aware of my options.
The facility I chose was enormous, encompassing various campuses and medical centers with maze-like, sprawling buildings. The nurse navigator provided us with driving directions along with specific directions to the waiting room for my new physician and recommendations for hotels offering discounts to patients of this facility. To prepare me for my appointments, she emailed information concerning my condition and questions to ask the neurologist. Best of all, the nurse navigator attended appointments with my husband and me, took careful notes and asked all the right questions we never would have thought to ask. After the appointment was over, she provided me with a list of follow-up items and a written summary of the appointment.
My nurse navigator's care was so encompassing that early in the process I experienced an unfortunate snafu with an appointment, and she was able to help me get it resolved. Her expertise was invaluable. By the grace of God, it was determined that I did not have an aneurysm, but the ConnectCare3 nurse navigator stayed in close contact with me until my medical issues were resolved. Her level of caring, concern, and compassion, along with her savvy ability to keep the process moving quickly, is an artful accomplishment in the healthcare world.
